Abstract
Learning outcomes – The case introduces strategies for stakeholder management in construction megaprojects. It also helps students appreciate the pros and cons of vertical integration in the construction industry. Case overview/synopsis – This case chronicles the strategies and decisions of an executive overseeing the construction of a controversial hydroelectric power plant megaproject in Lao PDR.
