Abstract

Higher education institutions are increasingly experiencing staff turnover, particularly among information and communication technology (ICT) personnel, which poses challenges to operational efficiency and continuity. This study examines the impact of toxic leadership on ICT staff turnover intention. It further investigates how factors such as satisfaction of self-determination, workplace as a learning environment, growth needs, work engagement, and emotional exhaustion are related to turnover intention. The findings offer insights into how leadership and organizational factors influence employee retention and provide guidance for strategies aimed at improving workplace well-being.
