Abstract

The measurements were performed to determine the thermodynamic and transport properties of superconducting Na0.3CoO 2·1.3H2O single crystals prepared by electrochemical deintercalation. The extracted normal state density of states indicates Fermi-liquid behavior with strong mass enhancement and a modest Wilson ratio. The specific heat of coaligned single crystals was measured using a physical property measurement system in applied magnetic fields. The results show that the low-temperature properties were consistent with those of a Fermi liquid with strong mass enhancement.
