Abstract
Climate change poses a major threat to agriculture, both at global and regional levels. Agriculture needs to adapt to changing climatic conditions to sustainably produce food for a growing population. Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) is an innovative approach that combines precision farming technologies with climate change knowledge to improve the efficiency and sustainability of agricultural production. This paper explores the regional aspects of climate-smart agriculture. The authors analyse the potential benefits and disadvantages of CSA in terms of its impact on agriculture and rural areas. The study highlights the regional specificities and challenges of CSA implementation. The study concludes that climate-smart agriculture offers significant opportunities for improving agricultural sustainability in the era of climate change. However, the introduction of CSA requires careful planning and implementation, considering local specificities and farmers' needs. The study provides recommendations to facilitate the successful regional implementation of climate-smart solutions.
