Abstract

The iminophosphinimide complexes [Ar(R)N]₃M(NPNBu^t) (M = V, Nb) were prepared from the corresponding anionic nitride species {[Ar(R)N]₃M≡NNa}2 by way of a four-step synthetic strategy.
