Abstract
The aim of this present work is to study the investigation of uncured new low protein skim rubber properties obtained from saponification including nitrogen content, color index, ester content, gel content, molecular weight, thermal properties, Mooney viscosity and tensile strength and characterization of peroxide cured skim rubber through crosslinking density, hardness and tear strength. The physical properties of cured low-protein skim rubber exhibited improvements in crosslinking density, hardness and tear strength compared to standard NR grades.
