Abstract
A 78-year-old man presented with progressive difficulty walking, and changes in mental statusHowever, his brain magnetic resonance imaging was unremarkableThe possibility of paraneoplastic syndrome was raised, and an FDG-PET/CT of the body was performed to search for potential malignancyInterestingly, there was diffusely increased FDG uptake along the lower spinal cord and sciatic nerves, which was subsequently confirmed to be due to neuropathy following nerve biopsy.
