Abstract

Lifetime prevalence of significant depressive symptoms is 13% to 20% and 3.7% to 6.7% for major depressive disorder. Depressive patients experience a wide range of clinical symptoms ranging from lack of pleasure and sleeping problems to psychomotor retardation or even committing suicide in extreme cases.
