Abstract

A series of 101 vasectomized Thai males were interviewed and examined physically by public health nurses and by psychiatrists to study the health status, the life history and the history concerning vasectomy; 98 nonvasectomized married males were also studied as controls. It was found that the incidence of unhealthy individuals in the 2 groups were not statistically different. It was therefore inferred that vasectomy did not cause nervous breakdown.
