Hello, I'm Weerachon Sawangproh. I'm deeply passionate about biology, environmental science, and the conservation of biodiversity. Over the years, I've built a solid foundation in these fields through my academic journey and professional experience. I've had the privilege of working in both teaching and research capacities at esteemed institutions like Mahidol University.

At Mahidol University's Kanchanaburi Campus, I serve as an Associate Professor. Here, I not only educate students but also supervise those studying conservation biology and conduct pioneering research. My educational background includes earning a Ph.D. in Biology from Lund University in Sweden, emphasizing my dedication to academic excellence.

I'm committed to continuous learning and professional growth, as evidenced by my participation in various workshops and training programs. My diverse skill set includes proficiency in languages, digital tools, and research methodologies. Beyond academia, I'm also passionate about sports and engage in extracurricular activities.

Currently, my research focuses on bryophyte diversity and evolution, investigating the impact of metal toxicity on mosses, and exploring the potential of bryophyte-derived biomass for heavy metal adsorption. Furthermore, I'm involved in cross-disciplinary research that bridges the gap between natural sciences and social sciences.
