Dr Wasu Supharattanasitthi, Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Pharmacy at Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand, holds a PhD in Eye and Vision Science from the University of Liverpool. With extensive experience as a registered pharmacist in Thailand since 2013, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with Honours at Mahidol University. Dr Supharattanasitthi's academic journey has seen him rise from Assistant Lecturer to Head of Department, showcasing his commitment to academia. His research interests encompass cell physiology, molecular biology, ageing research, stem cell research, genetic engineering, and gene therapy. Notably, he was awarded the ARVO International Travel Grant in 2018 for his contributions to eye and vision sciences. Dr Supharattanasitthi's dedication extends beyond research, as he actively engages in teaching and emphasises the importance of soft skills alongside academic knowledge. His holistic approach to education aims to shape the future generation of professionals, ensuring impactful learning experiences and fostering a lasting impact on the academic community.
