Usawadee Srithong

          Dr. Usawadee Srithong is a former columnist for Fine Art Magazine Thailand and Art Square Magazine, Thailand with over 100 published articles on art and culture. She is also the first Thai national to earn Ph.D. of Painting from Kala-Bhavana (Institute of Fine Arts) at Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan, India one of the world's most significant centers for art and philosophy, which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2023. 

           Currently, Dr. Usawadee applies her extensive experience and expertise in art and culture gained through both academic pursuits and national and international engagements, such as the 2^nd Thailand Biennale, Korat 2021, and her role as an academic at the Art Centre under the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture, Ministry of Culture. Additionally, she has served as both a full-time and visiting lecturer at various universities. She now plays a key role in advancing The Centre for Bharat Studies at the Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia, Mahidol University, Thailand fostering artistic and cultural collaborations between Thailand, India, and the global community.
