Research interests
My research focuses on the biosynthesis, biotechnological production, and bioactivity of plant-derived secondary metabolites, particularly alkaloids, flavonoids, and triterpenoids.
I am interested in elucidating the enzymatic pathways involved in the synthesis of these bioactive compounds, their evolutionary significance, and their potential applications in pharmaceuticals and functional foods.
My research aims to enhance the production of high-value plant-derived compounds for medicinal and nutraceutical applications by integrating molecular biology, biotechnology, and metabolite profiling.
