Dr. Pimnara Chanorn's research interests lie at the intersection of cultural economic anthropology and development studies, with a particular focus on rural transformation, cultural and social policy, and global-local interactions. Her work explores how cultural commodities and industries are shaped by and contribute to processes of entrepreneurship, branding, and cultural management within both local and transnational contexts. She is also interested in the theoretical and methodological dimensions of social research, including online research methods and the application of social theories to the study of cultural production, identity, and economic change in both rural and urban settings.
