Research interests
My research focuses on the study of familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) in Thai population. This includes exploring common genetic mutation in the population, developing screening test for the disease, such as DNA screening method or study the lipid biomarkers. I also interested in genetic imputation and genome-wide association study and polygenic risk factors to study deeper into the disease.
I also have experience with both prokaryotic and eukaryotic genome assembly and annotations, transcriptomic analysis of non-model organisms, isothermal amplification for detecting bacterial pathogens in marine animals and recombinant protein expression using genetic engineering technology.
