Pattama Patpong holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics and an MA in Applied Linguistics and South East Asia Linguistics. Assistant professor at the Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia, Mahidol University, Thailand, her research interests focus on discourse analysis of text types, including advertisements, narratives, news reports, and language documentation of Black Tai folktales. Her current interests include health communication focused on depression on social media platforms.
