Asst. Prof. Parunchaya Jamkrajang, PhD, CSCS, ASCA L-1, is Deputy Dean for Research, Academic & International Relations at the College of Sports Science and Technology, Mahidol University, Thailand. She holds dual doctoral degrees in Sports Biomechanics (Liverpool John Moores University, UK, 2018) and Sports Science (Mahidol University, 2018), along with MSc and BSc degrees in Sports Science from Mahidol University.

Her research focuses on sports biomechanics, with particular expertise in postural balance control, tennis performance, running mechanics, and strength and conditioning. She is committed to advancing both scientific knowledge and applied practice, integrating evidence-based research into athletic training and performance enhancement.

Dr. Jamkrajang serves as an editorial board member of the International Journal of Sports Biomechanics, a board member of the Asian Society of Sports Biomechanics (ASBS), and an active member of the International Society of Sports Biomechanics (ISBS). She also contributes internationally as a member of the Advisory Board for International Women in Biomechanics (IWB). In addition, she is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA, USA) and an accredited coach with certifications from the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA) and the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA).

Beyond academia, she contributes to national and international sports development. She is a member of the Commission on Sports Science, Commission on Sports Sustainability, and Commission on Gender Equality in Sports (Safeguarding) under the National Olympic Committee of Thailand. At Mahidol University, she also plays an academic leadership role as a committee member of the doctoral, master’s, and bachelor’s programs in sports science.
