Dr. Krai Meemon is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anatomy at the Faculty of Science, Mahidol University. He earned his B.Sc. in Physical Therapy with first-class honors in 1999 and completed his Ph.D. in Anatomy at Mahidol University in 2004. Dr. Meemon furthered his research expertise through a research fellowship at Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, during 2000 - 2001, and a postdoctoral fellowship at Karolinska Institute, Sweden, during 2007 - 2009.
Dr. Meemon's research interests are diverse, including anti-aging, anti-obesity, and the longevity effects of natural extracts and their bioactive compounds, using C. elegans as a model organism. He also studies neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. In addition to his research, Dr. Meemon actively contributes to the academic community by serving as a committee member of the Anatomy Association of Thailand and The Microscopy Society of Thailand.
