Description
This instrument is used for measuring the angle between a liquid surface and a solid surface to analyze the surface interaction e.g. hydrophobic and hydrophilic interaction.
It can be analyzed in 2 modes including static and dynamic contact angle.
Several calculation methods are available such as θ/2 (WH), circle fitting, ellipse fitting, real drop, curveruler (tangent fitting), spline curve fitting, and Young -Laplace equation fitting (ADSA).
Major applications are surface free energy, dispersive force and polar force, wetting behavior analysis, and drop bouncing.
